Musicians Corner is pleased to announce that we have once again teamed up with American Songspace to accept artist submissions for our fall season.
The artist submission process is open through July 15 and provides local and national artists with the opportunity to perform on the Lightning 100 Acoustic Stage during our fall 2012 season, which takes place on Saturday afternoons from September 1 to October 27.
Artists can submit their music for a $5 fee, which serves as a contribution to Musicians Corner. Proceeds from submissions will help us present 9 weeks of free music in Nashville's Centennial Park this fall. A team of music industry professionals will select one artist each week to perform on Musicians Corner's Lightning 100 Acoustic Stage and be featured on the American Songwriter website.

We're busy putting the finishing touches on our May 5 spring kick off event. Thanks to everyone for helping to spread the word! Check out this wonderful article in the Tennessean about the Fisk Jubilee Singers historic return to Centennial Park on May 5.

On May 5, we will have free parking and shuttles from HCA building lots across Park Plaza. Arrive early and enjoy the 41st Annual TACA fair taking place on the main lawn of Centennial Park.
We're also excited to introduce our Beer & Wine Garden for our spring season, showcasing local brands Yazoo, Hap and Harry's and Arrington Vineyards.

04.24.12 - Introducing Our Beer We're excited to let you know that we are introducing a beer & wine garden during our spring season, beginning with the May 5 kick off event that will also serve as a Cinco de Mayo Celebration.
We have teamed up with R.S. Lipman to showcase Nashville brands Yazoo, Hap and Harry's and Arrington Vineyards.
The Musicians Corner Beer & Wine Garden will be accessible to attendees ages 21 and over. Located next to the main performance stage, guests will be able to enjoy a cold beverage in Centennial Park while enjoying free music. The beer & wine garden will open at 2 PM each week, one hour before the musical performances begin.
Please join us on Saturday, May 5 as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo and the start of our spring season.

We cannot believe we're only a few weekends away from starting our spring season of Musicians Corner. We hope you will join us as we return with free events in Centennial Park on Saturday afternoons from May 5 to June 30.

Musicians Corner is excited to support our friends at the Nashville Songwriters Association by sponsoring the 20th Annual Tin Pan South Songwriter Festival.
Our show is Wednesday, March 28, 6 PM at The Commodore Grille on West End. Tickets are $8 at the door.

Yesterday we hosted our 19th event this year at Musicians Corner in Centennial Park. It was a perfect fall day that featured seven great local artists who entertained our largest crowd ever with three hours of music.
Special thanks to our generous sponsors, fabulous vendors and dedicated volunteers who helped make our second season a huge success.
We will be back in the park on Saturday, May 5. In our off season we will be raising money, hosting fundraisers and creating ideas to make our next season the best yet.
